"Nevskaya palitra" watercolours - is a good old friend. I have about 24 colours in my palette, I selected them according to the properties: the number of pigments and the light fastness. It is such a pleasure - to paint, knowing exactly what effect would this or that colour mix be. Also, I really like that you can take the colour densely. It's very important in botanic painting to collect this cherished density in the shadows, to create a slightly hypertrophied volume. It's difficult to type paints so thick on brush using western paints. I'm happy to use these paints and I'm waiting for the future expansion of colour chart.

I use limited pallette of paints "White Nights": lemon, cadmium yellow medium, cadmium orange, titian red, golden deep, red ochre, cadmium red light, ruby, carmine, madder lake red light, english red, quinacridone rose, raw sienna, ultramarine, blue, green, burn umber, sepia. They comprise the base of my set.
